Below are the Terms and Conditions for the Armed Forces Day Competition on Facebook.
- The promoter is: the Directorate for Defence Communications whose registered office is at Ministry of Defence, Main Building, Whitehall, London, SW1A 2HB.
- Employees of the Directorate for Defence Communications, their family members or anyone else connected in any way with the competition shall not be permitted to enter.
- There is no entry fee and there is no purchase necessary to enter this competition.
- Route to entry for the competition and details of how to enter are via our Facebook Page (https://www.facebook.com/armedforcesday).
- The closing date for entry will be 26th June 2015 at Midnight. After this date no further entries to the competition will be permitted.
- No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
- Entries to the competition must:
- Be submitted by posting your photograph on the Gary Lineker competition Facebook post posted on 22nd June 2015.
- Be a photo of you or someone you know saluting.
- The prize for the winner will be a football signed by Gary Lineker.
- The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice at any time. The promoter will notify any changes to the competition to entrants as soon as possible by posting the changes on the Armed Forces Day Facebook page.
- The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
- No cash alternative to the prize will be offered. The prize is not transferable. The prize is subject to availability and the promoter reserves the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
- Winners will be chosen at random from all entries received and verified by the Promoter.
- The promoter will notify the winner and will arrange for the prize to be sent to them.
- The promoterβs decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
- Entrants agree to the use of their name and image in any publicity material.
- The Directorate for Defence Communications bears no responsibility for the use by third parties of the names of entrants or photographs submitted by way of entry into the competition.
- Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrant that was not posted onto Facebook by the entrant will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrantβs prior consent.
- The winnerβs name will be announced on the competition Facebook post.
- This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Twitter or any other Social Network.
- By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
