Come and join us for our Armed Forces Day celebrations in Warwick District as a thank you to current and former serving members of the Armed Forces and their families.
This annual celebration, a staple event in the District’s calendar, is going to be bigger than previous years with the theme of ‘Our Allies’, recognising the contributions that our allies have made in past conflicts, and continue to make and strengthen.
Please join us in St Nicholas Park for a fun day out for everyone. There will be FREE food and FREE activities for families to experience together.
Our event will feature:
– Village of stalls to include military museums from the town, Commonwealth War Graves, the Sikh Soldier, We are West Indians and commonwealth flag parade.
– Performances by the Fusilier Band, West Indian Steel band and a wartime Singer
– A chance to see a range of military vehicles.
– FREE children’s activities including bouncy castle, trampolines,
a craft stall and many more activities for all to enjoy.
– FREE hot dogs and ice-creams and a Sikh Langhar – vegetarian food (while stocks last)
