The Army, Air and Sea cadets will take part in the whole day providing recruitment and information stands,
displays and take part in the raising of the Armed Forces Day Flag and parade. The cadets will be inspected by the
DL of Kent prior to the parade. There will be numerous stalls run by charities, community groups and local
businesses. The Danny Gullivan Trust will be bringing along their new bus which is in the process of being
refurbished following the sucess of “Danny The Bus” which provides for homeless ex service men and women.
There will be free activities for children as well as opportunities to participate in a goal shoot out competition.
The Royal British Legion and Help4Heroes will have stands and there will be opportunities for war veterans to
display their medals and talk to the public about their experiences. Static displays of WW1 and WW2 vehicles
including an ambulance and also a pink Cadillac so that there is something for everyone
