This is the official Armed Forces Day 2024 for Northern Ireland. The event will involve all three Services, and will include air displays from the Red Arrows and the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, a drumhead service and parade, static military assets, military stands, capability demonstrations, tug-o-war and STEM competitions, a civilian village, music and live entertainment, activities and fun for families, and a Beating the Retreat ceremony. The theme of the event is the 80th anniversary of D-Day and a celebration of military veterans, and we anticipate it attracting a large number of people from all backgrounds and ages.
