Back again the 16 Air Assault Brigade and Colchester Garrison Show including an Essex Veterans and Cadets Armed Forces Day parade. The FREE show held on Abbey Field, Colchester, is a mix of static displays showing equipment used by the British Army’s Global Response Force and other units, exciting arena events, and a chance to meet ‘Your Armed Forces’. Living history groups dating back to the First World War provide an insight into how equipment and tactics have developed to that used by the modern Army.
