As well as focusing on family fun throughout the day, there will also be live music from 1940s trio The Bluebird Belles and other artists on the main stage, plus an Armed Forces Parade featuring serving personnel, cadets and veterans from the city’s Freedom Units – RAF Cosford, 210 Battery, the Mercian Regiment and HMS Forward, marching into the event arena at 1pm.
This free family fun event will also feature funfair rides and games, street food traders and a themed bar, with free activities including face painting, soccer skills, cycling stunt displays, roaming performers and an appearance from Wolves FC mascot’s Wolfie and Wendy. There will also be the chance to meet and chat with local armed forces as well as information stands and activities from local military and related organisations.
