A brunch will be held for all serving personnel and veterans living in Kinross-shire. The aim is to help combat isolation and loneliness for some and encourage comradeship and remembrance for all. The Pavilion is fully accessible for those with disabilities.

After a full breakfast there will be three short talks; one from Veterans Scotland covering who they are and how they seek to support statutory bodies deliver on their Armed Forces Covenant duties and their assistance in co-ordination and collaboration across the charity sector in support of veterans.

This will be followed by a talk from SSAFA on their work in the ‘shire and the event will conclude with a talk about the final days of WW2: Between Triumph and Resolution – The Interlude from VE Day to VJ Day and how lessons from that period might be worth remembering in our current geopolitical climate..
