The Plymouth Armed Forces day is the biggest in the South West with over 40,000 attendees free to attend and is a major highlight for the City.
The RAF, Army, Royal Navy and Royal Marines have a presence with their own activations and their partners.
The Veterans Village has a marquee that holds over 50 charity stands and the external areas have an additional 30 pitches available.
The Blue Light Village hosts the Police, Fire and rescue services to increase their awareness and raise their profile in the community.
The Arena programme will includes Field Gun Demonstrations, RM bands and other displays with a stage programme for local and school bands and choirs. In the evening the stage hosts a concert to celebrate the day.
The Junior Field Gun Competition takes places all day at the event with over 300 school children taking part in the challenge, a thrilling climax to an invested schools programme.
Their is also potential for an air display this year with applications in with the RAF and Navywings and we have a flight director already appointed.
The 2024 event will also celebrate 80 years of the D Day landings with a 40s village with military vehicles from the time, 40s themed entertainment and activations.
