The event will be a free, family orientated event, held in the middle of the Town which will support and celebrate the Armed Forces community including serving Cadets and Veterans. The street will be decorated and there will be staging providing entertainment throughout the event as well as mobile and stationary attractions and displays of interest to the public as well as the Armed Forces.
All attractions and performances will be Armed Forces themed and will be both informative and educational in addition to being fun and entertaining.
Serving Armed Forces personnel are to be invited as well as local Cadet Forces, Veteran Associations and Armed Forces charities.
We will also be involving local community groups, local schools and organisations to support the event on the day and help engage with with visitors to the event.
