The event opens at 10.00 with the Armed Forces Day Flag raising ceremony. In the display area there will be stalls and demonstrations by Ex-Service Associations , Service Charities and uniformed Cadet Groups. Amongst the exhibits will be service and civilian vehicles some having been used in WW2 and a (2 possibly stc) full sized replica Spitfires and re-enactors will provide atmosphere about the displays. There will also be children rides and entertainers and bands will provide music and fun throughout the day.
The highlight of the day at 14.00 will be a parade by the cadet groups to salute both serving members and veterans as thanks for their service. The Lord Lieutenant of Cambridgeshire and Mayor of Wisbech will also add their thanks to be will be followed by a Thanksgiving service service and Sunset ceremony . The event will close approx 15.00 but the music will stop at approx 16.00
The event is free to enter and is held on a grassed flat surface with plenty of free local parking
