Workington Armed Forces Day will be celebrating the work of all our Armed Forces, Veterans & Cadet Corps for the 16th year. our event is a celebration for everyone to show their support, this brings all the local community together, including local dignitaries, veteran associations, friends and families not forgetting our serving personnel.
The day will begin at 11am with a town parade led by the Morpeth marching pipe band, leading us to a drumhead service in the park, from there we will march back through the town to the W.R.B.L. Club where lunch will be served, displays from the cadets and band.
Entertainment will be provided throughout the day for everyone to enjoy, a great way to catch up with old friends or make new ones.
